On September 17–18, 2025, one of the most important industry events in the region – the Asia Grains & Oils Conference – took place in Tashkent. The event brought together over 200 participants from more than 15 countries, including grain and oilseed producers, processing companies, exporters, logistics operators, and agricultural technology providers.

Among the participants were representatives of UNIA Grains – Olha Zaika, Business Development Manager, and Piotr Bester, Key Account Manager – who actively took part in discussions about the future of the grain sector in Central Asia.

Expert Knowledge and Strong Representation

At the Asia Grains & Oils Conference 2025 in Tashkent, we had the honor of serving as the official sponsor of the grain infrastructure and logistics segment.

On the second day of the event, our colleague Olha Zaika, Business Development Manager of the UNIA Grains brand, delivered a presentation titled “Elevators of the Future: Innovations in Safe Drying and Storage of Grain and Oilseeds.” She shared our vision of modern, efficient, and safe grain storage and drying technologies — a field in which we have built our expertise over decades.

UNIA Grains, as the continuation of the long-standing heritage of ARAJ, proudly carries forward the tradition of Polish engineering in the design and construction of grain silos and dryers. By combining ARAJ’s experience with the technological and organizational capabilities of UNIA Group, we now offer comprehensive solutions for modern agriculture – from concept to completion.

Our presentation received great interest and positive feedback, reaffirming UNIA Grains’ position as a trusted expert in grain infrastructure. During the exhibition, we showcased our innovative grain dryers, silo systems, and UNIA agricultural technologies, alongside products from the Chemirol brand. This integrated approach to technology and agronomy reflects our mission: to support the development of agriculture across Europe and Asia.

Meaningful B2B Discussions

For us, the Tashkent conference was more than just an exchange of knowledge – it was an opportunity to connect directly with our business partners and understand the unique needs of the Central Asian market. We held numerous B2B meetings with companies from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Afghanistan, and China, discussing possibilities for technological, investment, and distribution cooperation.

The strong interest in our offer confirmed what we already sensed – that Central Asia is growing dynamically and is increasingly open to modern agricultural solutions like ours.

New Directions for Cooperation

During the event, we established valuable business relationships that open the door to long-term cooperation in grain infrastructure and processing technologies. Companies from the region expressed particular interest in our grain drying solutions and their integration into local production facilities.

We also met with European companies, exchanging experiences and exploring opportunities for joint export projects — a sign of how collaboration can extend beyond borders.

Insights and Outlook

From our perspective, Central Asia is one of the most promising regions for the future of modern agriculture. Population growth, modernization of farms, and ongoing infrastructure development are creating a stable demand for efficient grain drying and storage systems.

With our experience and broad product portfolio — from tillage machinery to grain dryers and crop protection solutions — we are well-prepared to respond to these needs, adapting our technologies to local conditions and requirements.

Our visit to Tashkent was a resounding success — both in terms of brand visibility and business outcomes. We strengthened our relationships with key partners, presented our solutions, and confirmed that Central Asia will remain a strategic direction for UNIA Group’s export growth in 2025–2027.

Cooperation Built on Trust and Knowledge

At UNIA Group, we believe that the sustainable growth of agriculture is only possible through trust, knowledge, and collaboration. Our mission is to support producers and processors in developing modern, safe, and efficient grain infrastructure — in Poland, across Europe, and around the world.
