The DT 1520 model, with a daily capacity of 205 tons of maize, has been delivered to TUTU TRANS SRL from Târgu Mureș — a family-owned company that has been operating in the transport sector since 2000 and, since 2010, has been consistently expanding its agri-business activities, including the cultivation, storage, and sale of grain and agricultural products. This enables the company to meet the needs of both local farmers and customers who require high-quality raw materials delivered on time.

TUTU TRANS is a company that combines precise organization with a solid approach to agricultural production. It is therefore no surprise that they chose a technology that increases independence and crop security.

Due to the client’s decision to carry out installation independently, we prepared detailed guidelines for Romanian electrical and assembly teams. These included, among others:

  • installation of the drying process automation based on precise temperature control,

  • configuration of remote monitoring of the dryer’s operation via smartphone and computer,

  • direct supervision of the installation by our experts,

  • final technical acceptance and comprehensive operational training.

As a result, the investor was able to commission the new dryer safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with standards, gaining a modern, high-performance, and fully automated facility to support the further development of their business.

What convinced the client to choose DryTech?

Importantly, TUTU TRANS initially considered modernizing an older facility they already owned. However, after detailed calculations, the client decided to invest in a completely new technology. As Petruta Moldovan explains:

“The new system offers higher efficiency, lower labor costs, and better automation, so in the long term it is simply a more cost-effective solution.”

Company representatives also highlighted other aspects of the cooperation:

Efficient installation and clear documentation “The installation is progressing very smoothly. The documentation we received is clear and genuinely helps us stay on schedule.”

High-level technical support “Communication and technical support were excellent. Every question was handled quickly and professionally.”

A partnership-based approach “We appreciate the flexibility and adaptation to our needs. The cooperation had a truly partnership-driven character.”

Origins of the cooperation and system integration

It is worth noting that cooperation with TUTU TRANS began with the client’s purchase of a used facility from Poland, including an S410 continuous dryer for rapeseed (2013), along with technological connections, control cabinets, a conveying system, and a CZB 904 drum cleaner.

Initially, modernization of the existing installation was considered. However, after gaining a deeper understanding of DryTech technology, the client concluded that investing in a new dryer would be more cost-effective over time.

Today, all components — both the new DryTech dryer and the used equipment from 2013 — operate in full harmony, forming an efficient, flexible, and fully automated corn drying system. This practical combination of proven solutions with the latest technology enables TUTU TRANS to maximize efficiency, maintain grain quality control, and ensure independence in every season.

What’s next?

The commissioning of the first DryTech dryer in Romania is an important milestone for us and, we hope, the beginning of dynamic growth in the region. We are pleased to support local farms and companies in building modern, weather-resilient infrastructure for grain drying and storage.

For TUTU TRANS, this is another element strengthening their integrated agricultural value chain — from the field, through logistics, to the delivery of high-quality grain, on time and in full compliance with standards.
