The Caspian Agro 2026 trade fair in Baku was an important opportunity for UNIA GRAINS to gain insight into the needs of the rapidly developing Azerbaijani market and to build relationships with partners from the Caucasus and Central Asia region.

In a country that is developing its own grain production and placing increasing emphasis on reducing post-harvest losses, modern drying and storage technologies are becoming ever more important. For this reason, the discussions held during the trade fair by Agata Sondej, Olha Zaika, and Piotr Bester — together with our partner INNVIGO — focused primarily on solutions related to grain drying, storage, and safe preservation. An important aspect of our presence was also identifying the needs of the local market and understanding the challenges faced by agricultural producers in the region.

On the second day of the fair, the UNIA GRAINS and INNVIGO delegation met at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Baku with the Polish Ambassador Paweł Radomski and First Secretary Artur Podleśny to discuss opportunities for expanding operations on the Azerbaijani market.

The event also highlighted its international significance through the presence of the President of Azerbaijan together with his family, as well as a government delegation that also visited our stand.

Caspian Agro 2026 once again demonstrated how important relationships, exchange of experience, and practical solutions addressing real market needs are in modern agriculture.
