On June 4, 2026, the Open Fields 2026 event took place in Sărmașel Gara, where TUTU TRANS SRL showcased a modern grain drying and storage facility equipped with Romania’s first DryTech DT 1520 dryer supplied by UNIA Grains.

TUTU TRANS is a family-owned company from the Târgu Mureș region that has been developing its transport and logistics business since 2000. For more than a decade, the company has also been consistently investing in the agricultural sector, covering crop production, grain storage, drying, and trading. Today, it operates a modern storage infrastructure and its own logistics network, supporting local agricultural producers.

The official opening of the facility took place after the completion of the testing and commissioning phase. The investor chose to present the site to partners and industry guests only after the new technology had been thoroughly validated under real operating conditions.

The project was particularly noteworthy because the installation of the equipment was carried out by the customer’s own team with the support of UNIA Grains experts. This cooperation included the preparation of technical documentation, supervision of key installation stages, system commissioning, and operator training.

Representatives of TUTU TRANS emphasize that they especially value the efficient communication, prompt technical support, and partnership-based approach throughout the project. Based on their positive experience, the company is planning further investments and continued cooperation to support modern grain storage and drying operations.

The installation of the first DryTech dryer in Romania marks an important milestone in the development of the UNIA Grains brand across the Central and Eastern European market and confirms the growing interest in advanced grain drying technologies throughout the region.
