The UNIA Grains grain drying and storage facility in Wojny-Pogorzel has now reached its full scale. Intensive installation work is currently underway on site, bringing the facility closer to commissioning.
At the heart of the facility is the DryTech DT 4040 grain dryer. Its capacity reaches up to 2,759 tonnes per day for wheat, while for corn dried from 30.5% to 15% moisture content, it reaches up to 1,140 tonnes per day.
The extensive storage section includes 8 SF 19.9/20 flat-bottom silos with a total capacity of 46,640 tonnes, 5 SFL 9.2/15 silos – 4,940 tonnes, 2 SFL 9.2/14 silos – 1,840 tonnes, and 7 SPL 7.6/10 silos – 3,381 tonnes. The facility also includes 2 SFP 4.6/6 KP operational silos with a total capacity of 194 tonnes, designed for short-term grain storage before drying.
The total capacity of all silos at the facility is 56,995 tonnes. The project is now at an advanced stage, with installation testing and operator training marking the final steps before the facility is commissioned.
