Raciąż II – 16 Years later, we’re delivering the next stage of the Cedrob project

Sixteen years after completing the first stage of the grain storage complex in Raciąż, we are once again involved in expanding the facility. RACIĄŻ II will add another 54,000 tonnes of storage capacity, a new DT 4040 grain dryer, as well as grain cleaning and conveying systems. The project marks another chapter in the more than 20-year partnership between UNIA GRAINS and the Cedrob Group.

Another Cedrob investment in Raciąż

The Cedrob Pasze feed mill in Raciąż, Masovian Voivodeship, is currently undergoing a major expansion. With a total investment value of PLN 135 million, it is one of the Cedrob Group’s key development projects.

The expansion is expected to double the plant’s production capacity. Once completed, the feed mill will reach a nominal production capacity of 120 tonnes of compound feed per hour. Completion of the project is scheduled for the end of 2026.

For UNIA GRAINS, this project has particular significance – we are returning to a facility where we completed the first stage back in 2010, when we were still operating under the ARAJ brand.

RACIĄŻ I – 39,000 tonnes

We completed the first stage of the project in 2010, delivering a grain storage complex with a total capacity of nearly 39,000 tonnes, including:

S 432 CS grain dryer,
4 SPA 22.5/19 flat-bottom silos,
14 SLA hopper-bottom silos,
grain conveying system with a capacity of 150 t/h for intake and 100 t/h for discharge.

RACIĄŻ II – an additional 54,000 tonnes

The second stage, currently under construction, will add approximately 54,000 tonnes of grain storage capacity.

The UNIA GRAINS scope of supply includes:

DT 4040 grain dryer with a drying capacity of up to 1,140 tonnes of corn per day, complete with a dust extraction duct,
one CZB 1603 grain cleaner and two CZB 1602 grain cleaners,
6 SF 22.5/20 flat-bottom silos – total capacity: 45,600 tonnes,
6 SFL 7.6/17 (45°) hopper-bottom silos – total capacity: 4,482 tonnes,
6 SPL 7.6/13 (60°) hopper-bottom silos – total capacity: 3,588 tonnes,
grain conveying system with a capacity of 150 t/h for intake and 100 t/h for discharge.

Once the second stage is completed, the two complexes in Raciąż will provide a combined grain storage capacity of approximately 93,000 tonnes.

More than 20 years of cooperation

Our cooperation with the Cedrob Group began more than two decades ago, when we were still operating under the ARAJ brand. Raciąż is one of several major facilities we have delivered together over the years. ARAJ and UNIA GRAINS solutions are also in operation at Cedrob facilities in Gumowo, Rypin and Ligota Dolna.

Today, 16 years after the completion of RACIĄŻ I, Cedrob has once again entrusted us with the expansion of this facility. For us, this is the best confirmation of the quality of the solutions we deliver and of a business relationship built over more than 20 years.
