Grain dr/ying and storage facility Agrosław in Rabinowowo, Poland – trust that grows with every season

  • Rabinowo, Poland
  • 31 804 tons
  • Trust that grows with every season The story of the collaboration between UNIA GRAINS and the company Agrosław from Rabinowowo (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship) is an example of how consistent modernization and investment in advanced technologies translate into long-term success.

The project began in 2021 with the first investments in storage infrastructure, which have been systematically developed over the years. Today, Agrosław is one of the largest centers of its kind in the region — and the development plans are far from over.

    Impressive scale and efficiency

The center in Rabinowowo services both the owner's own fields and the purchase of agricultural produce from regional suppliers. Initially, Agrosław operated with flat warehouses and mobile dryers, but increasing demands necessitated the construction of a permanent, efficient infrastructure.

    Technical data of the facility:

    • SF 13.8/21 silos – 4 units with a total capacity of 11,224 tons.

    • SF 13.8/16 silos – 4 units with a capacity of 8,580 tons.

    • Total storage capacity: nearly 20,000 tons.

    • Dryers:

      • 1 x DT25/24 – capacity 1,021 tons of wheat per day,

      • 2 x DT15/24 – capacity 620 tons of wheat per day.

    • Drum cleaner 1204 – capacity 190 tons per hour.

This configuration allows the facility to handle large volumes of grain while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Smart automation with DDC – the future of drying

The UNIA GRAINS dryers in Rabinowowo are equipped with the innovative DDC (Dual Dryer Controller) system. This advanced automation system is based on two moisture sensors – at the grain input and output. As a result, the drying process is fully automated, and the operator is limited to monitoring operations. Key benefits of DDC include:

    • no need for manual settings,

    • real-time monitoring of moisture levels,

    • easy access to drying parameters via the operator panel or computer,

    • process safety and consistency.

Benefits for customers and local suppliers

Agrosław’s infrastructure brings tangible benefits to the entire supply chain:

    • Shorter wait times during harvest season thanks to the high efficiency of the dryers and cleaner,

    • Ability to store large quantities of grain, reducing time and logistics pressure during peak season,

    • Greater operational independence – in-house dryers, cleaner, and warehouses eliminate the need for external services.

The Agrosław facility in Rabinowowo has undergone a dynamic transformation – from basic infrastructure to an advanced storage and drying complex. The decision to expand further is the result of the real benefits of UNIA GRAINS solutions, which meet the needs of modern and scalable agricultural production.
