CEDROB S.A. – A Partnership built on solid foundations.

In 2021, the construction of the second phase of the production complex in Rypin (Rypin II), initiated in 2019, was completed. This expansion significantly increased the operational capacity of the entire facility – together, Rypin I and Rypin II reached a total production capacity of 1 million tons of feed annually. The investment was delivered within a very short timeframe, with construction and installation works carried out intensively from early morning until late evening.

A key component of the complex is its modern infrastructure for grain intake, drying, and storage. The applied technology enables grain intake at a rate of approximately 900 tons per hour and drying of wet maize at up to 2,000 tons per day. An integral part of the investment is the expanded storage base with a total capacity of approximately 150,000 tons, consisting of both flat-bottom and hopper silos.

All technological processes are managed by an advanced, integrated IT system. It allows for real-time monitoring of every stage – from grain handling and flow control, through fully automated drying and cooling processes, to storage and temperature monitoring within the silos. The system collects and archives data, enabling detailed analysis across various timeframes and supporting process optimization.

The facility is equipped with an industrial grain handling system designed for high durability and resistance to intensive use. The drying process is carried out using air-recirculation dryers, allowing for double heat recovery. This solution improves energy efficiency, reduces fuel consumption, and enhances the overall economics of the process.

The completed investment in Rypin stands as an example of a modern approach to grain processing and storage, combining high performance with advanced automation and energy efficiency.
