With the start of the grain drying season, we launched a drying and storage facility in Rozkochów. The facility was designed with the future dynamic expansion of the 700-hectare farm in mind. The investor, cultivating corn, wheat, and rapeseed, gained the ability not only to efficiently dry their own harvest but also to provide services to neighboring farmers and conduct grain intake.
The central element of the investment is the DryTech DT1524 dryer, achieving a daily capacity of:
262 t of corn
620 t of wheat (drying from 30% to 15% moisture)
The dryer is equipped with a DDC – Dual Dryer Controller system, using two moisture sensors (at the grain inlet and outlet). The advanced automation enables precise process control and stable drying parameters.
Flat-bottom silos SF 12.2/19 – 3 units, 1,995 t each
Conical silos SFL 6.1/9 – 2 units, 260 t each
Dispatch silo SFL 4.6/3 KP – 1 unit, 60 t
The facility also includes a CZB 1205 cleaner with a pre-cleaning capacity of 120 t/h (wheat at 15% moisture).
Installation of Unia Grains equipment began in January 2025 and was completed in August 2025. The entire investment — including site preparation, foundation works, construction, and equipment installation — was completed and ready for commissioning within 1 year and 2 months.
During the project design stage, technological channels and foundations for a larger dryer and additional silos were already implemented, enabling the facility to increase processing capacity in the future without interfering with the existing infrastructure.
The new facility has significantly increased the farm’s operational capabilities, providing full control over drying, cleaning, and storage processes, while opening the door to offering services to the local agricultural market.
